Keto/Low Carb Lamb Shepherd’s Pie

My sister mentioned a shepherds pie they made and it sounded so amazing I just couldn’t stop a craving for it. So in true Carnivorous Couple fashion we set out to recreate it…primal style! Continue reading Keto/Low Carb Lamb Shepherd’s Pie

Seafood and Chorizo Paella

We have a cute Spanish Tapas restaurant named Barlata pretty close to the house and they have really delicious food. They happen to have an excellent happy hour (I must write a post about that one), and they have a whole section on their menu for the variety of paellas  – 9 to be exact! It was Mardi Gras this past Tuesday (AKA: Fat Tuesday) and to celebrate we made a zero-rice jambalaya!  Continue reading Andouille Sausage and Shrimp Riceless Jambalaya

Cheesy Brocco-‘rice’ casserole

On Sundays, the neighbors would all come over and bring a dish and we would make the day of it – pot luck, volleyball and good ol’ fashioned visiting. One time we even had a pig roast – apple in the mouth and everything! I was one super impressed little tyke-o-saur!  Continue reading Cheesy Brocco-‘rice’ casserole
